One of the places that you can visit in this city is the Tamadun Islam Park. In this place you can see a collection of various famous mosques miniature in the world. The park is located on the island of Wan Man which is an island located in the eastern coastal city of Kuala Terengganu. Payang market is one place that you can visit to buy various souvenirs of Kuala Terengganu. Famous beach in this city is the Batu Buruk Beach. On this beach you can play sand, kite and ride around the beach or just relax on the white sand while enjoying the beautiful scenery. This beach is not safe for swimming because it has a rather dangerous beach contour. Palas Leaves lunkhead is a traditional food of Kuala Terengganu. Its texture is similar to a lunkhead in Indonesia but the difference is that lunkhead in Kuala Terengganu wrapped in palas leaves. Laksam Terengganu is a culinary which you can find easily in this city. Laksam is made from rice flour and eaten with fish sauce, chilli sauce and side dish-mistress consisting of bean sprouts, long beans, cucumber and basil leaves. Keropok Lekor can complement your culinary tours in Kuala Terengganu. This food is a starch or sago flour dough mixed with fish. Boiled or fried Keropok Lekor are equally delicious. As a drinking buddy in the morning or late afternoon, you can choose Bronok, traditional sweet cake made of sago with grated coconut.
