Technical issues causing delays at Sydney Airport

ANGRY passengers have criticised Sydney Airport’s handling of a major technical glitch that threw two terminals into chaos and caused thousands of passengers to be delayed on Friday morning.


Passengers faced major delays at check-in at Sydney’s T1 international and T2 domestic terminals after the IT glitch.


It prevented passengers from being processed through check-in and security for about two hours and was so disruptive people were initially advised to stay away from the affected terminals.


“The safety and security of our passengers is our number one priority and we are pleased to say that all systems are operating as normal,” an airport spokesman said in a statement, according to AAP.
