PT KAI to launch luxury sleeper train car on Tuesday

State-owned railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is set to launch its newest service of luxury sleeper train car on Tuesday.


For its maiden trip, the train car will be attached to KA Argo Anggrek, which travels from Gambir Station in Jakarta to Pasarturi Surabaya Station in East Java.


According to tempo.co, among the highlights of the new service are 170-degree reclining seats, electric foot rest, 12-inch TV with headset, USB charging power source, foldable food tray, pillow and blanket, trash bin, mirror, cup holder, compartment to store shoes, magazine and coat hanger -- all available for each passenger.
