Tanjung Lesung Festival to put spotlight on World Rhino Day

Slated to return on Sept. 27-29, the annual Tanjung Lesung Festival will reportedly put a spotlight on World Rhino Day, which falls on Sept. 22.


"There will be various rhino-inspired events, such as Rhino Trip, [where we will] provide a boat for participants and visitors to visit Ujung Kulon National Park," said Banten Tourism Agency head Eneng Nurcahyati on Thursday as quoted by tempo.co.


Other rhino-related events scheduled at the festival are a Rhino Cross Triathlon, Rhino Edutainment, Rhino Camp and Rhino Bazaar. The latter, according to Eneng, would invite visitors to see the making of palm sugar.
