When we purchase a plane ticket, we put our trust in the airline to get us to our destination safely and without incident. Most journeys end up being just that, though accounts of uncomfortable or even downright distressing mid-air incidents abound online.


We caught up with Peter McCullough, a Hong Kong-based lawyer at Oldham, Li & Ni who is an expert on litigating against airlines. Following the recent launch of his new website, Aeroclaims.asia, “a free educational tool and a resource for individuals that have suffered injury at an airport or onboard an aircraft”, McCullough shares some of the most unusual things he has seen in his career for which passengers have tried to sue airlines.
