Another snag hits Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s Terminal 3

A section of the apron at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport’s Terminal 3 was 20 centimeters under water on Tuesday night, adding to a series of problems plaguing the terminal since its inauguration in August 2016.
“Based on our preliminary investigation, a drain was clogged,” Yoda Yarismano, spokesperson of state-owned PT Angkasa Pura II, which operates the airport, said on Wednesday.
He explained that the construction of a driverless skytrain, which will connect three terminals, had affected water drainage, particularly during Tuesday night’s heavy downpour.
