Ballina is a town located in the Northern River region in New South Wales, Australia. The city is about 205 km from Brisbane. The town crossed by the Pacific Highway is located at the mouth of the Richmond River near Cape Byron. If you visit Ballina from June to November, do not miss the opportunity to see the hordes of whales migrating from Antarctica to the Great Barrier Reef.
