Lodge your vehicle at airport safely

When you’re travelling using plane, there will be times when you have to get to airport by your own vehicle and lodge your vehicle in the airport’s parking lot. Sometimes you will feel worry in lodging your vehicle making your trip so uncomfortable because of your worries. There are several things you need to pay attention to to make sure that your vehicle is completely safe while you’re away few days for traveling:

Don’t leave valuable things

If you really need to lodge your vehicle at the airport, especially car, don’t leave any valuable things in your car for any reason. This thing needs to be done to avoid unwanted things for not all airport parking lots have walls and roofs making other person can easily look inside of your car and do crime.

Put off the battery’s cable

By putting off your car’s battery cable, you can avoid short circuit in your car. Another reason is your car might get power weaken for being left and not started for couple days. By putting off the battery cable on your car, it will also reduce crime possibility for your car’s engine will be difficult to ignite by other person.

Make sure your car is completely locked

Make sure that all doors and windows are completely closed and locked before you leave your car in airport’s lodging area. If it’s necessary, add extra lock like steering wheel lock. Don’t be too rush in leaving your car before you completely check on everything in safe condition.

Park near the guarding post

Pick a crowded parking spot to make your car even in safe position. Or try to park your vehicle near the guarding post and visible to the guards view, moreover when you leave your car for couple days.

Use car’s cover

Put the cover on when the location you lodge your car is outdoor. You will never know what weather might come when you leave your car for several days in the lodging lot. Don’t let rains and sunlight strike your beloved vehicle directly for several days.

Don’t forget the parking ticket

Keep the parking ticket safely and don’t lose it but still you need to remember to not leave it inside your car. If it’s necessary, ask for the officer’s phone number so you can reach them to check on your car’s condition while traveling.
